Welcome to the Blackwood Arms Country Pub! The oldest of the pubs in Burnham Beeches. The pub has been serving a warm welcome, great real ales and hearty English pub food for exactly 171 years. Over those years the pub has built a reputation for being truly 'traditional'. Today we are happy to continue that proud true country pub tradition, a rarity in these modern times.

We are a frinedly pub! Maybe it's because Burnham Beeches provides us with such a picturesque and tranquil setting that we feel un-rushed by the pace of life which exists only a mile or two away, left to contemplate the better things in life - good friends, good pub food, good beer and good times!

A Real Ale Pub in Burnham Beeches
The Blackwood Arms has always been famous as a real ale pub, infact it has a major claim to fame! Did you know the Blackwood Arms was in the Guinness Book of records for serving the most different real ales in one year? Yes! 1,003 different real ales!!
Sadly, those days have passed. However, we remain passionate about real ale and being a real ale pub. We always have at least 5 real ales at anyone time and regularly have guest ales. Click here to find our more about our real ales.

A Dog Friendly Pub in Burnham Beeches
We are dog lovers! Sadly we recently had to say goodbye to our best friend, Frank. It brings us great pleasure when our guest bring in their dogs to visit us. They always get a warm welcome!
